You can use the Network Diagnosis tool (Netdiag), a Windows 2000 support tool, to diagnose problems on a network. This command-line diagnostic tool helps isolate networking and connectivity problems by performing a series of tests to determine the state of your network client.
These tests, and the network status information they provide, give you a more direct means of identifying and isolating network problems.
