  1. Click Start and then click programs
  2. Click accessories and System Tools
  3. Click System Monitor
If previously unused this is blank. Otherwise, it will display previous monitored conditions.

To add a monitored condition

  1. Click Edit and click Add Item
    • for processor monitoring Click Kernel and click processor usage
    • for memory monitoring
      • Click Page faults
      • Click Unused Memory
To remove a monitored condition
  1. Click Edit and Remove Item
  2. Select Item for removal from resulting display

By clicking on the Line Charts icon you will get a better real-time presentation.

System Monitor (sysmon.exe) can be Installed by

  1. Starting the Add/Remove Programs Properties in Control Panel,
  2. Select the Windows Setup tab,
  3. Double click on the System Tools entry and select System Monitor
