To set up your Internet mail account, follow these steps:
- Click Start and point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Mail icon.
- In Internet Accounts, click Add.
- Type your display name and click Next.
- Type your e-mail address as in the example and then click Next.
- Type the mail server names (get this information from your
- Internet Service Provider), and click Next.
- Type your e-mail account name and password if required, and then click Next.
- Type a name for your Internet account. Click Next.
- Click to select the connection type and click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Close the Mail control panel and close the Windows Control Panel.
NOTE: Keep all of your e-mail account information stored in a convenient location for future reference. If any of your configuration files become damaged, you should remove each of your e-mail accounts from the Internet Accounts Manager, and then add each one back.
